The New Jersey Pulaski Skyway North bound into New York will be down for the next 12 months. The south bound side into New Jersey will be down for 12 months following the completion of the north bound side.

In all the Pulaski Skyway will be closed for a total of two years according to New Jersey Transportation Authority.

Motorists are been advised to seek alternate means of transportation into New York. Here are some options for traveling into New York, for those motorists who usually utilized the Pulaski Skyway:

Car pool, use route 1&9 north truck route to Holland or Lincoln Tonnel.

Park and ride at Route 1&9 – Haynes Avenue on the available transportations authorized by NJDOT.

Ferry service with the New Seastreak ferry service from Atlantic Highlands to Paulus Hook at the Jersey City and Hoboken Terminal.

From New York you can take the NY Waterway with Belford ferry service from Middletown to Wall Street, Midtown and Jersey City (Paulus Hook). With free parking, an indoor terminal but please check departures.
