New changes to NJ disable parking permit!

Due to excessive fraud with the disability parking permits in New Jersey. The State has implemented a change to the NJ Disability Parking Privileges (N.J.S.A. 39:4-204 through 39:4-207.9). As an effort to combat the fraudulent use of the permits by motorists, who may not need the pass longer than their physical disabilities.

All the holder of this parking permit are to take heed to the new changes effect on August 1st, 2013. The State of New Jersey will require every persons with a disability parking permits to renew it every three (3) years.

Therefore, when the three years expiration is reached disability parking permit holders must re-submit an application and provide all supporting documentations to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for their new permit.

The renewal application must includes the applicant most resent medical certification from, that can be found online NJMVC, must be signed by a New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or Delaware licensed medical practitioner, such as a Physicians, Podiatrists, Chiropractic physicians, Physician assistants or a Nurse practitioner that could certified that disability still persisted. In addition to the practitioners a certifications from a United States military installation located in this state of New Jersey and are licensed to practice medicine in any state are also acceptable.
