If you are visiting Paris, France for the first time, here are some very important things you need to know before you get to and while you are in Paris:

1. Language is French
2. Restaurants menu are in French with minimum translations
3. Streets are very small
4. Motels are all connected
5. Traffic travels on the right side of the roadways
6. Bike lanes are in the sidewalks
7. Public transportation buses/coach and subways uses paper tickets
which has to be validated after board the transportation
8. Attractions are reachable by taxi, boat, bus or train sightseeing
of the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame and much more. A one day pass can
be use to hop on and hop off.
9. Currency is Euro, this you should get before you get to France.
You can get great exchange rates from the Travelex located in most
of New Jersey’s shopping malls, for example Jersey Garden Mall.

When You Get to Paris:

If you are traveling a lone without the tour native guide, then make sure you have a language that can translate to French. Taxi is available to take you where ever you want to go.

Restaurants are available but make sure you know what you are ordering before you place your order. Please note because something on the menu sounds familiar, doesn’t mean that it is what is something you know.

Buses are available and is better and cheaper to get your pass or tickets before you board the bus. You must validate your bus after boarding the bus or you could get a fine, by the transportation authority.

Some public toilets or stalls requires money to use them, so make sure you have small change. Some of the toilets may not have any sink to wash your hands after you are done, so it is a good idea to travel with hand sanitizer.
